APRIL M. MCHEFFEY received her Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies, from Muhlenberg College, in 1998, where she was the recipient of the Citizen Exchange Council Award. While at Muhlenberg College, Ms. McHeffey served as a legal intern at The White House, Office of Legal Counsel. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law, in 2001 and studied abroad at the University of Peking School of Law, in Beijing, China and as well at Moscow State University School of Law in Russia.

Ms McHeffey was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2002 and admitted most recently in 2010 to the bar of the State of New Jersey and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. McHeffey is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Monmouth County Bar Association. Ms. McHeffey concentrates her practice in the area of Transactional law.
