Brian Lowenberg - Associate

BRIAN LOWENBERG practices in a variety of fields, but focuses primarily on products liability and environmental litigation, including asbestos, benzene, pesticides, and groundwater contamination (public nuisance). Additionally, Mr. Lowenberg remains actively involved in labor and employment disputes and special appellate issues.

Mr. Lowenberg has been admitted to the bars of Texas, Pennsylvania, and related federal districts. Mr. Lowenberg also practices as a Multi-Jurisdictional Practitioner in New Jersey. 

Mr. Lowenberg is a member of the Texas Pattern Jury Charge Committee, which establishes uniform standards of jury forms throughout the State of Texas. Such forms will likely be used in oil spill litigation in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Lowenberg continues to speak at various trade conferences, including the American Conference Institute.  In 2012, Mr. Lowenberg was appointed to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s In-House Corporate Counsel Committee.

While at the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Lowenberg was the Casenotes and Comments Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, served as a justice on the University Honor Court, and taught at the law school’s Legal Research and Writing Clinic. During his first year of law school, Mr. Lowenberg won the Paust Excellence in Writing Award and was later published in the Defense Counsel Journal (April 2003). Mr. Lowenberg interned for The Honorable Marcia A. Crone in the Southern District of Texas.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Lowenberg practiced with a major international law firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a premiere litigation boutique in Houston, Texas.
