CHRISTIAN S. MONSON holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado’s School of Arts and Sciences and a J.D. from the University of Denver, where he was an integral part of the Environmental Law Clinic. Mr. Monson is admitted to practice in the State of Colorado as well as the United States District Court for Colorado.

He is an associate attorney in the Firm’s Colorado office, where he practices in transactional law in the Firm’s Wealth Preservation and Business Group. Mr. Monson brings his education and experience with law and business to complex transactional matters relating to corporate formation and structure, including succession of ownership between generations and key employees as well as income and estate tax planning issues.

Mr. Monson has successfully assisted taxpayers involved with audits settle controversies with the IRS and the Colorado Department of Revenue, including family limited partnerships. Mr. Monson enjoys lecturing and speaking about estate tax issues, wealth preservation and risk issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
