Cristina  A. DeFazio - Associate

CRISTINA A. DEFAZIO is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance Services Department. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2004 with a major in Culture and Politics and a minor in Justice and Peace Studies.

In 2009, Ms. DeFazio received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review, a journal focusing on recent important developments in all areas of the law at the federal appellate level. Additionally, Ms. DeFazio was awarded first place in the Intrascholastic Gressman Moot Court Competition in 2008. Thereafter, she competed as a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. In 2009, Ms. DeFazio was a regional quarterfinalist at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, where she was also named seventh best oral advocate in the northeast region. Ms. DeFazio served as a research assistant to Professor Mark C. Alexander, Esq.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. DeFazio served as a law clerk for the Honorable David H. Ironson, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Civil Part, Criminal Part, and Special Civil Part in the Morris-Sussex Vicinage for the 2009-2010 term.
