DANIEL T. WRIGHT is of Counsel in the Hartford and Boston offices.  He is a graduate of Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.  He received a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. 

Mr. Wright has extensive experience in civil and complex litigation and state and federal courts concentrating in the representation of life, health, and disability insurers with respect to claims for benefits under individual and group policies of insurance, class action litigation, market conduct practices litigation, insurance fraud, agent/broker liability and FINRA securities disputes.

Prior to joining McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney and Carpenter, Mr. Wright was formerly Assistant Vice President and Counsel with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.  In this position, Mr. Wright handled a diverse litigation portfolio of life, health, disability and securities matters on a national basis.  In addition, Mr. Wright formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Hampden County District Attorney’s office in Springfield, Ma.
