James D. Ray - Partner

JAMES D. RAY graduated from Delaware Valley College of Science & Agriculture, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He received a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University in 1982. He is a graduate cum laude of Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.

He was admitted in 1984 to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. From 1984 to 1985, he served as Law Clerk to The Honorable James J. Petrella, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Mr. Ray is a member of the Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Environmental Law Sections of the New Jersey Bar Association.

His practice focuses in the areas of real estate, environmental and corporate law matters. Mr. Ray is a Certified Commercial Investment Member, a designation given by the Commercial Real Estate Institute. Mr. Ray recently led a team of lawyers that closed a $261 million sale-leaseback transaction, believed to be one of the largest transactions of its kind in New Jersey. A large portion of his practice involves the purchase and sale of environmentally constrained properties and advising clients on site remediation and related issues.
