JEFFREY R. EGAN's practice concentrates on the arbitration and litigation of construction claims arising from both public and private construction projects, as well as the resolution of other commercial disputes.  Mr. Egan’s practice also includes project administration for mega-construction projects, which emphasizes the proper allocation of risk and the cost-effective implementation of procedures and systems in order to mitigate and resolve pending items before they develop into formal disputes. Mr. Egan has represented owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors in state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals. Mr. Egan has extensive experience with commercial, residential, mixed use, transportation, hospital, hotel, and mega-construction projects.  In addition, Mr. Egan has negotiated prime contracts and subcontracts involving various project delivery methods including design-build, guaranteed maximum price, cost-plus, lump sum and construction manager as-agent.

Before joining our firm, Mr. Egan was senior corporate counsel and vice-president for Tishman Construction Corporation. During that time, Mr. Egan provided legal guidance regarding construction and corporate operations in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as assisting with various legal issues regarding the management and operation of hotels located throughout the United States.
