John P. Dwyer - Of Counsel

JOHN P. DWYER received his A.B. in 1961 from the College of the Holy Cross, and in 1964 he received his J.D. with honors from Rutgers University, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Rutgers Law Review.  Mr. Dwyer was admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1965, The United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in 1967, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits in 1981.  Mr. Dwyer is on the roster of New Jersey court-appointed mediators.

Mr. Dwyer has over 45 years of experience in complex litigation matters including, among other things, mass torts, environmental, product liability and commercial litigation.  Mr. Dwyer is also experienced in litigation and arbitration of maritime matters.

Mr. Dwyer is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations, the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey, and the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
