JUNE BAKER LAIRD is the Managing Partner of the Colorado office of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP. She is a 1989 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law and her undergraduate degree is from University of Central Oklahoma. She was admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in Colorado in 1991. Ms. Laird defends healthcare entities and licensed professionals, and provides risk management to their insurers. She has tried well in excess of a dozen healthcare malpractice cases in Colorado courts to defense verdict and represented a variety of healthcare professionals before administrative licensing forums. She also represents attorneys on malpractice claims arising from healthcare malpractice cases. Ms. Laird also advises healthcare employers and their insurers on aspects of employment law.

Ms. Laird is a member of the Colorado and Florida Bar Associations, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and Colorado’s Federal Faculty of Advocates. She is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a Colorado Super Lawyer in Healthcare 2006, 2008. Ms. Laird is also a Board member for the Colorado Judicial Institute and she co-chairs the Retention Committee for The Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence.
