KATHERINE KELLEY is an associate with the Colorado office of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP.  While in law school, Ms. Kelley was a senior staff editor for the Denver Law Review and served simultaneously on the editorial board of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.  As a law student, Ms. Kelley defended indigent clients in municipal and county courts through her participation in the Criminal Defense Clinic.  During law school, Ms. Kelley interned for the Honorable Stephen Munsinger in Jefferson County District Court. Following law school and admission to the bar, Ms. Kelley served as law clerk for the Honorable Gerald Rafferty in Arapahoe County District Court. 

Ms. Kelley has experience in all aspects of insurance defense and litigation, including general liability, professional liability, bad faith, and workers’ compensation defense.  Ms. Kelley has defended employers and insurance carriers at hearings in administrative court, and she has tried cases to jury verdicts in both state court and federal court.  Ms. Kelley is admitted to practice in Colorado and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.  She is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, DRI, and Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
