Kevin P. Harkins - Partner

KEVIN P. HARKINS is a 1985 graduate of Drew University, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. He received a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, and was admitted to the bar of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 1988. In 1997, he was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.

Mr. Harkins concentrates his practice on sophisticated leasing, financing and conveyancing transactions. He has handled multi-million dollar financings, acquisitions and sales of multi-tenanted strip shopping centers and other commercial and industrial properties and regularly represents institutional lenders in connection with construction and permanent loan financings.

He also regularly represents landlords and tenants in connection with office, industrial and retail leases. In addition, Mr. Harkins currently serves as Township Attorney for the Township of Nutley, New Jersey counseling the Township on an extensive range of legal issues. He is a contributing author to the treatise, New Jersey Local Government Deskbook. In 2008, Mr. Harkins was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District IIA Fee Arbitration Committee.
