Laura M. Garcia - Associate

LAURA M. GARCIA is an associate in the Firm’s Construction, Fidelity & Surety group. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice summa cum laude from Monmouth University in 2014. She received her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Rutgers School of Law in 2017.

During law school, Ms. Garcia served as an Executive Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, and was a finalist in the Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition and the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, where was a Brooklyn Regional Champion and advanced to the National Finals. She also competed in Rutgers School of Law’s First Annual Judge Leonard I. Garth Competition, where she argued before a three-judge panel that included U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Garcia served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Vernoia, J.A.D, of the Superior Court of New Jersey during the 2017-2018 court term. She is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, with admission pending in the State of New York. Ms. Garcia is also fluent in Spanish.
