ROBERT C. SCRIVO is a 1989 graduate of Rider College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.  He received a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1993.  He served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable William L’E. Wertheimer, Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County-Law Division.  From 1994 to 1998 he served as an Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor.  He is admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.  He has extensive experience in the areas of criminal and municipal defense law, domestic violence, complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, premises liability, New Jersey Tort Claims Act, civil rights litigation, and expungements. 

In his criminal practice, Mr. Scrivo represents individuals charged with a wide variety of crimes including health care fraud, vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, child pornography and endangerment, theft and related offenses, burglary, robbery, drug possession and distribution, firearms and weapons possession. 

Currently, Mr. Scrivo is the President of the Essex County Bar Association.  He is a member of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey, New Jersey Association of Justice, and the New Jersey State Bar Association and Foundation Speakers Bureau where he frequently lectures on criminal law and juvenile justice.
