Scott M. Palatucci - Of Counsel

SCOTT M. PALATUCCI is a 1999 graduate of the University of Delaware where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Law and Society. Mr. Palatucci received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 2003, where he was a member of the Widener Law Review and authored the note “The Effectiveness of Citizen Suits in Preventing the Environment From Becoming a Casualty of War,” 10 WIDENER L. REV. 585 (2004). While at Widener University School of Law, Mr. Palatucci was also a member of the Delaware Civil Litigation Clinic and the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society. As a member of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society, he was awarded the Certificate for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, placing first in both the Society’s annual Hugh B. Pierce Trial Advocacy Competition and Brief Writing Competition.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Palatucci served as Law Clerk to The Honorable Joseph F. Scancarella (Ret.), Presiding Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County, Law Division, and to The Honorable Philip H. Mizzone, Jr., Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County, Chancery Division.

Mr. Palatucci is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, the State of New York, and the District of Columbia. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association and the New York County Bar Association. His practice concentrates in the areas of surety and fidelity bonding, construction litigation, and commercial litigation.

Mr. Palatucci was selected for inclusion in the New Jersey Super Lawyers®-Rising Stars Edition in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
