Stephen F. Payerle

STEPHEN F. PAYERLE received his Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University in 1985.  Mr. Payerle was admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey in 1985, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1993, the United States Supreme Court in 1994, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 1995, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 2009.

His practice concentrates on appellate and complex litigation, and counseling and representing management in employment-related matters, including discrimination laws, employee benefits, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour issues, and in collective and class actions.  He has successfully defended clients in proposed collective and class actions and other multi-party litigation.  He also has successfully addressed issues of first impression before federal and state appellate courts.
