Elizabeth A. Kenny - Of Counsel

ELIZABETH A. KENNY received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from Rutgers University and her Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Seton Hall University.  Ms. Kenny obtained her degrees while attending the Evening Divisions of the Universities and holding a full-time position as a Judicial Secretary in the Superior Courts of New Jersey.  She was the Evening Division Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal.  Ms. Kenny was admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1993 and the United States Supreme Court and Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2010.
Ms. Kenny served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel J. O'Hern, Supreme Court of New Jersey, from 1993-1994.  She then joined the Office of the Attorney General for the State of New Jersey as a Deputy Attorney General in the Division of Law from 1994-1999. 
Ms. Kenny is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations, the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey and the New Jersey Women Lawyers' Association.  She was a student, barrister and master of the Seton Hall Law Alumni Inn of Court.
In 2002 Ms. Kenny was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District Ethics Committee for Essex County.  In 2007 the New Jersey Supreme Court appointed Ms. Kenny to the District V-A Fee Arbitration Committee for Essex County; the Court appointed her as Vice-Chair in 2010, and as Chair in 2014.

Ms. Kenny practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation; environmental litigation; construction litigation, defense of personal injury claims, and life, health and disability insurance litigation.
