ROBERT P. DONOVAN was born in Jersey City and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Villanova University. While at Rutgers Law School, he won the Nathan Baker Mock Trial competition twice. He has years of experience in complex commercial litigation, class action defense, business torts, bankruptcy actions, labor and employment matters and municipal law. Mr. Donovan has tried several cases in both federal and state courts in New Jersey and in New York and he has extensive experience in appellate matters having argued cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Donovan is labor counsel for the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority, the Borough of Roselle Park and the Borough of Kenilworth. He is the appointed prosecutor for the Borough of Garwood. He is also a member of the Essex County and Union County Bar Associations.
