Mark A. Rosen

MARK A. ROSEN graduated from New York University in 1978. He received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1981, where he served as an editor of the Law Review.

He is admitted to the bars of New York and the United States District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the bar of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Previously, Mr. Rosen was an adjunct professor in Construction Law at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. 

Mr. Rosen practices in the area of construction and contract law, public contract law, arbitration, surety, and general commercial litigation.  He represents a vast variety of clients including both private and public owners, general contractors, subcontractors, utility and heavy highway contractors, contract and commercial sureties, general liability, property, and builders’ risk underwriters facing construction disputes, and project completion issues.  Mr. Rosen negotiates and reviews CBA’s (collective bargaining agreements) and grievance labor matters for companies, as well as multiple unions throughout the metropolitan area. He also advises clients in the review, negotiation and drafting of construction contracts, as well providing guidance and counsel in project dispute resolution and project crisis management.  Mr. Rosen serves as counsel to the General Contractors Association of New York and the Wall, Ceiling, & Carpentry Association of New York, two of the largest contractor associations in the New York Metropolitan area.
