Christopher Taillefer - Associate

CHRISTOPHER TAILLEFER is an Associate in the Firm’s Construction, Fidelity & Surety group. He graduated cum laude from Rutgers University in May 2006, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in English. Mr. Taillefer earned a Master’s of Education from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education in May 2007 and taught in the Union County public school system. He graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers Law School in May 2018.

During law school, Mr. Taillefer was elected to The Order of the Coif for graduating in the top ten percent of his law class. He was presented the Sera Ramcharitar Memorial Award, for excelling in work on behalf of the underprivileged, particularly women, children, and families. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Society. Mr. Taillefer served as a member of the Moot Court Board, Senior Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Record, a research assistant and teaching associate. 

Before joining the Firm, Mr. Taillefer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, P.J.A.D. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Mr. Taillefer is presently admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
