Jason P. Pedalino - Of Counsel

JASON P. PEDALINO is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1998.  He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey, as well as New York and Massachusetts State Courts.

Mr. Pedalino has spent his career practicing in the field of commercial litigation, focusing primarily on construction, surety and fidelity litigation.  He has extensive experience counseling contractors and subcontractors, including utility and heavy highway contractors, public and private owners, condominium associations, design professionals and sureties in a wide variety of transactions and disputes at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as in alternative dispute resolution tribunals.

He has experience handling complex commercial matters including those involving contract drafting and negotiation, contract disputes, construction defaults, bid protests, delay and extra work claims, surety and fidelity bond claims, lien law rights, construction defect claims, contract completion issues, creditor rights in bankruptcy, design disputes, professional malpractice claims, bad faith claims and construction trust fund claims. 

Mr. Pedalino’s practice has grown to meet the needs of his clients by developing complementary expertise in the areas of bankruptcy law, commercial transactions and judgment enforcement and collection, as well counseling clients in project dispute resolution, project crisis management and avoidance of litigation.

Mr. Pedalino is member of the American and New York State Bar Association, as well the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Construction Law Subcommittee.  He has been a lecturer for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and various industry associations and an instructor of a construction contracts coarse at Middlesex County College.
