LOUIS A. MODUGNO is a 1990 cum laude graduate of Fairfield University and a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law in 1995. He served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Stephen A. Stripp, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Modugno was Certified as a Public Accountant in New Jersey in 1992.

Mr. Modugno has extensive experience in the areas of complex commercial, corporate, and partnership litigation, fiduciary litigation, construction, surety, fidelity bonding, professional liability, director and officer litigation and complex bankruptcy litigation. He also has significant bankruptcy, work-out, creditor rights and insurance industry specific bankruptcy experience. He has been named as a Super Lawyer in New Jersey for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2006, Mr. Modugno was named one of New Jersey’s “Top 40 Lawyers under 40” by the New Jersey Law Journal. In addition, Martindale-Hubbell awarded Mr. Modugno its AV Peer Review Rating, its highest level of professional excellence.

Mr. Modugno is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania State Bar Association and the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey. Mr. Modugno lectures at seminars presented by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, The Essex County Bar Association and for clients.
