William K. Rounsborg - Of Counsel

WILLIAM K. ROUNSBORG was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and raised in a small farming and ranching community in Wyoming. Prior to law school, he worked in the trust division of a bank in Cheyenne, Wyoming, handling investments and accountings for trusts, estates, guardianships, retirement plans and other fiduciary accounts. While attending the University of Wyoming College of Law, he served as a staff member and as Editor in Chief of the Land and Water Law Review. After law school, Mr. Rounsborg served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Clarence A. Brimmer, then Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. Following several years with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., he returned to the Rocky Mountain West in 1997 and entered private practice.

His practice currently focuses on litigation of commercial disputes, the defense of construction design professionals and other claims against construction and commercial entities, inlcuding claims related to construction defects, oil and gas operations, manufacturing, trucking, catastrophic injuries and death. Mr. Rounsborg is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Wyoming State Bar, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Rounsborg is admitted to the bars of the states of Colorado and Wyoming, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.
