Eliott Berman

ELIOTT BERMAN received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Yeshiva University in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School in 1991. While in law school, he was an annual Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served on the Journal of Law and Social Problems. Mr. Berman was admitted to the bar of the State of New York in 1992 and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1996. He is also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Sixth Circuits. Mr. Berman practices in the area of commercial litigation.

Before joining the Firm, Mr. Berman began his legal career and practiced commercial litigation for many years at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York, following which he went to work in-house at IDT Corporation in Newark where from 2006 until joining the Firm in June 2009, he served as IDT Corporation’s Chief Litigation Counsel.
