McElroy Deutsch is comprised of a group of diverse and talented professionals. The Firm invests a great deal of time and effort in fostering the development of its associates. Many senior lawyers serve as formal and informal mentors to new lawyers at the Firm to provide assistance in developing their skill, encouragement, and a model of how to build and sustain client relationships. The Firm considers itself responsible for the professional and personal growth of its associates, so it has established several seminar programs and a lecture series on a wide range of topics, as well as practice group specific meetings and trainings.

Although new associates are assigned to a specific practice group, they are given the opportunity to work in all of the Firm's practice areas and encouraged to participate in the Firm’s pro bono efforts.
