May 11, 2026 – McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP (“McElroy Deutsch” or the “Firm”) is pleased to announce that Ronald J. Riccio, Counsel at the Firm, was recognized at Seton Hall University School of Law’s 75th Anniversary Gala on May 8th for his transformative leadership and lasting impact as former Dean.

Riccio served as Dean of Seton Hall Law for more than a decade beginning in 1988, during which he strengthened the school’s academic programs, expanded student opportunities, and enhanced its profile within the legal community. Following his deanship, he remained on the faculty as a professor through 2016.

A distinguished alumnus of Seton Hall Law, Riccio has maintained a lifelong commitment to the institution as an educator, mentor, and leader. Today, he continues to contribute to the legal profession through his role at McElroy Deutsch, where he serves as Counsel and previously held the position of General Counsel to the Firm. 

“Ron’s contributions to Seton Hall Law are significant,” said Michael J. Marone, Co-Managing Partner of McElroy Deutsch. “His leadership advanced the institution and helped shape generations of lawyers, including many within our Firm.”

Riccio’s recognition at the 75th Anniversary Gala celebrates not only his distinguished career, but also his influence on the institution and the broader legal community.
