Litigation Attorney

McElroy Deutsch is seeking an associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our litigation practice in either our Hartford, CT or Warwick, RI offices. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in catastrophic injury cases. Connecticut bar admission required; Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island admission strongly preferred. Salary range for this position: $122,000 to $135,000.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to interview witnesses, identify and engage experts, draft motions and pleadings, and assist with and/or take and defend depositions

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or insurance defense;
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills; and
• Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.
