About this position

McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of general litigation experience handling construction disputes in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The attorney would be part of the Firm’s nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group, which has a diverse practice in contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in state and federal jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients on litigation issues;
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage discovery;
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions; and
  • Engage in courtroom advocacy and motion practice.

Qualifications:

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school;
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars;
  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and

  • Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.
