About this position
McElroy Deutsch is seeking experienced attorneys with a minimum of 7 years of experience drafting wills and trusts, handling estate administration matters, and litigating in Orphans’ Court. A portable book of business is required.
Responsibilities:
Manage the administration of Trusts and Estates from inception to completion;
Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney;
Represent clients at court hearings (primarily Orphans’ Court);
Conduct legal research related to estates, trusts and taxation;
Prepare and review personal and fiduciary income tax returns; and
Collaborate with attorneys in other practice groups as needed.
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school;
- Admission to the Pennsylvania bar;
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills; and
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
