GERALD (JERRY) N. CAROZZA, JR. is Chief Operating Officer and Of Counsel to the Firm.

Jerry brings a career of operational experience that includes over 26 years of service in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corp and special operations. 

Jerry is also a recognized leader in construction, surety and fidelity law. He was head of surety, fidelity and construction defect claims at Selective Insurance Company of America. Jerry also served as the chair of the Surety & Fidelity Association of America’s Surety Claim Advisory Committee and was a member of Verisk/ISO’s Ad Hoc Crime and Fidelity Panel working with industry underwriters on updates and rewrites of the Commercial Crime Insuring Agreement used by carriers across the country.  Jerry also has experience working for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation liquidating failed financial institutions.

Jerry is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and holds insurance adjuster licenses in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University.
