Connecticut Superior Court Judge Cesar A. Noble Joins McElroy Deutsch
Enhancing the Firm’s Capabilities in Mediation and Arbitration
McElroy Deutsch is pleased to announce that former Connecticut Superior Court Judge Cesar A. Noble has joined the Firm as Of Counsel in its Litigation & Insurance Services Group. Judge Noble will focus his practice on Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) and will be based in the Firm’s Hartford office.
Judge Noble was appointed to the Superior Court in 2014 and retired after eleven years on the bench. During his tenure, he served three years on the Complex Litigation Docket, seven years as a civil trial judge, and more than a year handling criminal matters. As a civil trial judge, he presided over numerous cases and also served as a mediator through the Judicial Alternative Dispute Resolution program, resolving over 100 cases.

Judge Noble joins the Firm’s highly regarded ADR practice, bringing his experience to a distinguished roster of former judges and attorneys. This includes Judge Antonio C. Robaina (Ret.) of the Connecticut Superior Court; Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh (Ret.) who served on both the U.S. District Court for New Jersey and the U.S. Magistrate Court; Judge Thomas W. Cavanagh, Jr. (Ret.) of the New Jersey Superior Court; Judge Richard B. Klein (Ret.) of the Pennsylvania Superior Court; and notable attorneys such as Louis R. Pepe, member of the American Arbitration Association and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution; and Ronald J. Riccio, former Dean and professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law.
Judge Noble was born in Havana, Cuba, and is fluent in Spanish. He earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A. from Wesleyan University.
