Corporate Transactional Attorney

McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with experience handling general corporate and commercial real estate matters in New Jersey and nationally. Work will involve corporate mergers and acquisitions, large contracts, license agreements, technology licensing/sales agreements, purchase, sale and joint venture work for the acquisition, sale and leasing of commercial and industrial properties and financing.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including large contracts, license agreements, and mergers and acquisitions;
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for real estate transactions, including title reviews, environmental assessments, and zoning compliance checks;
• Manage and coordinate complex transactions involving multiple parties;
• Provide general business representation to clients, including advice on corporate governance and other related matters; and
• Maintain and manage assignments efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate transactions, M&A, and commercial real estate;
• Admission to the New Jersey bar;
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
