Brett D. Fallon, Jr.
BRETT D. FALLON, JR. is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office and is a member of both the Bankruptcy Practice Group and the Construction, Fidelity & Surety Practice Group. His practice focuses on business bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
Prior to joining McElroy Deutsch, Mr. Fallon served as a Deputy Attorney General with the Delaware Department of Justice where he gained extensive trial experience and developed strong leadership skills through the management, hiring, and supervision of junior attorneys.
During his tenure with the Delaware Department of Justice, Mr. Fallon served as a lead trial attorney in Delaware Superior Court, prosecuting the State’s most serious felony offenses to verdict. He managed a demanding, high-volume caseload; negotiated plea agreements; and made sentencing recommendations while also drafting, filing, and arguing motions and briefs on a wide range of legal issues. In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Fallon served as Chair of the Summer Law Clerk Program, where he was responsible for hiring and supervising approximately 20 law clerks annually, and was Delaware’s sole designated felony animal cruelty case specialist.
Mr. Fallon earned his B.A. in Political Science from Davidson College and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of Delaware and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
