John F. Whitteaker

Overview

JOHN F. WHITTEAKER, a graduate of St. John’s University and St. John’s School of Law, is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey.  Mr. Whitteaker was a Law Secretary to the Honorable Thomas F. Dalton, Superior Court of New Jersey and appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District IIA Ethics Committee.  Prior to joining the Firm, he was a member of Orbe Nugent Collins and Darcy, Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Mr. Whitteaker has extensive experience in commercial, complex insurance coverage and intellectual property litigation.  His intellectual property practice includes the representation of companies in disputes relating to unfair competition, trade secret, trademark, domain name and copyright matters.  He counsels clients about protecting intellectual property assets through confidentiality and license agreements as well as the clearing and registration of trademarks.
